Summer Extern - Kent County Prosecutor’s Office (2013-2014) Juvenile criminal court extern. Negotiated and accepted plea deals including misdemeanor and felonies, attended and argued juvenile delinquency Hearing, and conducted a mental incompetency trial.
Summer Extern - 17th Judicial Circuit Court (2013) Clerked for the Honorable George Quist. Drafted legal memoranda, reviewed and researched pending family law motions, and edited and reviewed pending orders and judgments.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, then moved to Michigan in 2010 to attend Western Michigan University. Jon and his family decided to move to Traverse City where his wife was born and raised, and where now they are raising their two daughters.
