Follow M-72 west from Traverse City to Empire. Leaving Traverse City and entering Leelanau County at the Tom’s West Bay stoplight, M-72 turns off to the left. Follow M-72 left to Empire.

Follow M-72 for 23 miles into the village of Empire. The road will make one very sharp curve at Polack Corner and another 90 degree turn at a flashing light at Shimek Corner. At the second flashing light, now in the Village of Empire, go straight ahead. At the Huntington National Bank, turn right onto LaRue. Sterling Law Office is at the rear of the gray building on your left.
